The mountains, they stand
Went on a day-long trek last week or so. Was a much needed break. While we were on the way to the starting point, we drove under an old-looking bridge. We spoke about how a lot of people are involved in keeping bridges and other infrastructure in order.

But when I saw the mountains, I could not stop thinking about what it'd be like if the roles reversed.
What would it be like if human creations (bridges, buildings, etc.) did not need to be maintained, but natural creations (mountains, etc.) did.
The mountains won't stand. They'd crumble and fall.
Unless nature choses to sustain them.
